What’s Included:
- Full Participation: Students will be involved in every element of the production – acting, singing, dancing, and backstage roles.
- Guaranteed Speaking Roles: Each participant will be cast in a speaking role unless they prefer to work exclusively in a backstage department.
- Complimentary Tickets: Families receive 6 tickets for the performance.
Drama Club - Tech Spot
New to Drama Club in 2026 due to popular demand are an extremely limited number of tech spots. Focusing on the backstage fun of theatre, this tech team, under the helm of a tech expert, will be responsible for getting Drama Club off the ground from the start. They will handle creative opportunities such as, but not limited to, creating props, selecting, organizing, and altering Costumes, stage managing, working on sound and sound effects, and eventually being a part of the backstage run crew when it comes time for opening night. These tech spots are highly individualized roles with no on-stage time at all. Your students' curiosities and interests are at the forefront, while our need for their assistance in making this show possible is dire. A tech spot for drama club will not have any performance requirements, only backstage opportunities.

Directed by Hunter Minor
Hunter Minor is one of the most in-demand theatre artists in Columbus, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Wright State University under his belt. Onstage, he has starred in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Quasimodo), Newsies (Jack Kelly), and Spring Awakening (Hanschen), among many others, while also coaching and teaching performers of all ages for auditions, productions, and beyond. Hunter has made a name for himself as a dedicated artist and teacher, known for his patient nature, expansive theatre knowledge, and inspiring work ethic.

"Matilda is the only musical I've seen on Broadway twice, and is without a doubt, one of my all-time favorites. This Roald Dahl classic is reimagined with extraordinarily catchy tunes, iconic characters, and Matilda's resilience and fight for all that is good in the world in the center of it all. The message of this story begs that children be heard and listened to, and this is a perfect example of why it's going to be such a thrilling choice for Drama Club. Packed to the brim with high energy dance numbers, hilarious songs, heartfelt and quiet ballads, Matilda is not a drama club to miss."

Cancellation Policy:

Cancel 4+ weeks before start date: full refund less $25 fee.

Cancel 2–4 weeks before start date: refund less $45 fee.

Cancel 3 days–2 weeks before start date: account credit less $45 fee.

Cancel within 3 days: no refund or credit due to limited enrollment capacity.
All classes require a minimum number of students to run. CCT reserves the right to cancel classes with low enrollment. If CCT cancels, a full refund will be issued.
