Description 

Set sail for imagination in Little Actors, Big Adventures on the High Seas! Young performers will dive into a world of pirates, mermaids, and sea animals through playful storytelling, music, and movement. Each session invites children on creative journeys as they act out swashbuckling tales, sing sea shanties, and move like ocean creatures. Along the way, little actors develop confidence, express big feelings, and make new friends in a joyful, supportive environment filled with laughter and adventure.

Instructor: Kate Shively (she/her)

Kate is originally from Oak Park, IL and graduated from Baldwin-Wallace University Conservatory of Music. Her favorite local credits include Mother in Ragtime at the JCC and singing in the a capella group, 6-1-Forte. She spent four years teaching preschool. Kate is glad to returning to Academy for a third year!

*Participants must be the appropriate age by the start of classes by January 23rd

**If a class is canceled by CCT or the instructor, March 6th will serve as the makeup day.

You will receive a welcome email containing important information one week before the class start date.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancel 4+ weeks before start date: full refund less $25 fee.
  • Cancel 2–4 weeks before start date: refund less $45 fee.
  • Cancel 3 days–2 weeks before start date: account credit less $45 fee.
  • Cancel within 3 days: no refund or credit due to limited enrollment capacity.

All classes require a minimum number of students to run. CCT reserves the right to cancel classes with low enrollment. If CCT cancels, a full refund will be issued.
