Spring Academy Sampler Class

Discover the magic of theatre in this dynamic introductory class designed for students who want to explore a variety of performance skills. Under the guidance of teaching artist Hunter Minor, participants in engaging activities that highlight the many elements of the stage:

• Acting – Learn the building blocks of character, improvisation, and stage presence.

• Dance – Experience basic movement and choreography designed for storytelling.

• Vocal Performance – Explore vocal technique, projection, and ensemble singing.

• Costuming – Get hands-on with the creative process of designing and styling costumes that bring characters to life.

This 3-hour sampler session offers a welcoming environment for beginners (mixed ages) and a chance to try multiple theatre disciplines in one fun-filled morning. Students will gain confidence, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the collaborative art of theatre.
