Fall '26 Academy: Seated Dance

60 Minute Class

Class Schedule:   10:15-11:15 AM  Saturdays October 3rd - November 7th**

Description: 

Discover the art of dance from a whole new perspective right from a chair! This inclusive class explores a variety of styles, from contemporary and jazz to musical theatre and hip hop, all tailored for seated movement. Each week, students will either reinterpret iconic dances for the chair or dive into a new genre, celebrating creativity and adaptability.

Open to all ages, this class is designed to empower every dancer, whether adapting for physical needs, recovering from injury, or simply eager to try something different. Emphasizing the fundamentals of adaptive dance, students will build confidence, connect with others, and experience the joy of movement in a supportive environment where everyone belongs.

Hi! I'm Miss M  and I work as a professional musical theatre performer and as a substitute teacher, most often in special education preschool classrooms. As a disabled artist myself, I believe that the arts should be accessible to everyone. I love helping young people express themselves, try new things, and have fun through theatre.

*Participants must be the appropriate age by the start of classes.

**If a class is canceled by CCT or the instructor, November17th will serve as the makeup day.

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancel 4+ weeks before start date: full refund less $25 fee.
• Cancel  2–4 weeks before start date: refund less $45 fee.
• Cancel 3 days–2 weeks before start date: account credit less $45 fee.
• Cancel within 3 days: no refund or credit due to limited enrollment capacity.

All classes require a minimum number of students to run. CCT reserves the right to cancel classes with low enrollment. If CCT cancels, a full refund will be issued.
