Featuring Two Tracks: Musical Theatre Performer and Technical Theatre Technician (New!)

Ticket Types
-Performer Track: For students who want to shine on stage as actors, singers, or dancers.

-Technical Theatre Track: For those interested in backstage roles such as set, props, costumes, sound, and stage management.

Rehearsals: Every Monday and Tuesday from September 8th- November 24, 2026, 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Tuition: $599.00
Performance: Tuesday, November 24, Time TBA

-Full Participation: Students will be involved in every element of the production – acting, singing, dancing, and backstage roles.
-Guaranteed Speaking Roles: Each performer participant will be cast in a speaking, signing or dancer role.

(NEW!)Theatre Technician Track
In response to popular demand, Drama Club is excited to introduce a very limited number of Technical Theatre Technician roles for 2026. These positions focus exclusively on the behind-the-scenes excitement of theatre. Led by a dedicated tech expert, the tech team will play a crucial role in launching the Drama Club’s productions from the ground up. Team members will enjoy creative opportunities such as designing and building props, selecting, organizing, and modifying costumes, stage managing, and working with sound and sound effects. As opening night approaches, the tech team will become the essential backstage run crew. All tech spots are highly specialized roles with no on-stage responsibilities. These positions are designed for students whose interests lie offstage, and their involvement is vital to making our shows possible. Tech participants will have no performance requirements, just the opportunity to experience the excitement of theatre from behind the curtain.

Directed by Hunter Minor

Hunter Minor is one of the most in-demand theatre artists in Columbus, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Wright State University under his belt. Onstage, he has starred in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Quasimodo), Newsies (Jack Kelly), and Spring Awakening (Hanschen), among many others, while also coaching and teaching performers of all ages for auditions, productions, and beyond. Hunter has made a name for himself as a dedicated artist and teacher, known for his patient nature, expansive theatre knowledge, and inspiring work ethic.

A note form the director: 

"Matilda is the only musical I've seen on Broadway twice, and is without a doubt, one of my all-time favorites. This Roald Dahl classic is reimagined with extraordinarily catchy tunes, iconic characters, and Matilda's resilience and fight for all that is good in the world in the center of it all. The message of this story begs that children be heard and listened to, and this is a perfect example of why it's going to be such a thrilling choice for Drama Club. Packed to the brim with high energy dance numbers, hilarious songs, heartfelt and quiet ballads, Matilda is not a drama club to miss."

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancel 4+ weeks before start date: full refund less $25 fee.

• Cancel 2–4 weeks before start date: refund less $45 fee.

• Cancel 3 days–2 weeks before start date: account credit less $45 fee.

• Cancel within 3 days: no refund or credit due to limited enrollment capacity.

All classes require a minimum number of students to run. CCT reserves the right to cancel classes with low enrollment. If CCT cancels, a full refund will be issued.
